    FTK decks

I was wandering if there were any First Turn Kill decks in this advanced format. I been trying to figure out a way to generate one, but it is hard.

    Re: FTK decks

Ya, um, unfortunately, I do not have the card: Exodia the Forbidden One. I have the arms and legs though. That is the last card I'd need for my Exodia deck, which is built the way I would build it. Unfortunately, The only guy in town that has the piece won't give it up. Its the only piece of Exodia he has and he wants to build an exodia deck when that's the only staple card for Exodia decks that he has. lol. What a panzy.

Exodia is hardly consistent enough to be considered an FTK.

    Re: FTK decks

If you build it correctly, Gigaplant can FTK pretty consistently. But it seems like everytime I drew the, the moron sitting across from me always had a Crow...

I mean seriously, he mains 1 Crow and I draw the FTK 4 times in a row, and he draws Crow 4 times in a row, and did I mention he mains 1!? How hard do you have to sack!?

But... yeah... you can draw the Gigaplant FTK pretty consistently, but don't expect to pull it off consistently. The only time I got it to work was when I had a backup Giga or Blazewing in my hand after the one in my Grave was hit by Crow.

But just because the Mass Driver Combo doesn't go off doesn't mean you can't beat him to death the following turn, which is usually the backup strategy. And with Botanical Lion coming out in CSoC, it makes it that much easier.

    Re: FTK decks

Lol. It's pretty easy for me.

How it seemed for me this weekend in Lousville that in the mirror match, I always had a Rescue Cat or Test Tiger + Dark Panther in the opening hand or against Lightsworn, I always had a Crow.

    Re: FTK decks

He cannot "Crow" your target with Gigaplant as once he allows you to select the monster, it is summoned. you are already resolving the effect of Gigaplant.

    Re: FTK decks

If I activate Gigaplant, and he Crows in response and takes the Giga in my Grave, if I don't have a Blazewing or another Giga in my hand/grave, I can kiss the Mass Driver combo goodbye. In the event that he has no backrow, I can spam Lonefire and get multiple Gigas and a Blazewing and beat him down.

Note: Superalloy Beast Raptinus is on the field while I'm doing this.

    Re: FTK decks

There's also the World Lock FTK, even though that's more of a delayed reaction FTK, because it usually takes you 2 to 3 turns to kill your opponent. My version of the deck is named Athena's World (figure it out).
