With the introduction to the new decks in the metagame that you've probably ran up against at your locals, what do you think about Synchros?

Personally, I love them. I've seen Goyo Guardian and Stardust Dragon absolutely tear through a lot of top tier decks.

I've even revived my opponent's Thought Ruler Archfiend from his graveyard and won with it and Gyzarus on my field. I think the intro of Synchros completely changes this game, and it's refreshing how much of a challenge they can be when you go up against them.

I agree, it's a fresh enough concept that provides a new level of challenge.  I've incorporated them with my ninjas and the results are phenomenal...though I went up against my friend's new Synchro City deck (manga heroes + synchros, no fusions) and was dominated with my baboon deck...Baboon is completely out-classed now with Goyo Guardian :(

Goyo Guardian...  Huh...  What was wrong with the Japanese Name for the card?  Glom Guardian

Anyways, I'm really looking forward to Arms Aid, a Level 4 Synchro Union monster that can only gives it's equipped monster 1000 ATK & Flame Wingman's Super Power.

I think that Synchros will change the Meta as we know it, and hopefully tier one decks like dark armed lightsworn, or ratbox that utalize synchros will even out the playing field with Glad Beasts a little bit.

And one thing people forget about is how splashable tuners can be in any deck. I've seen Emergency Teleport in Standard Monarch decks and how it's wrecked a lot of decks. Just to take Krebons and Caius and synchro summon Stardust Dragon.

Even in CB or GB, you can bring out Krebons along with Bestiari or Sapphire Pegasus and bring out Goyo Guardian for huge damage.
