It's an interesting ban list.
But once again they have banned the key cards in OTK decks not the actual OTK card!
I'm refuring to ARA being restriced because of Demise. But Demise hasn't been touched! If it was me. I'd limit ARA to 2 and put Demise to 1. It will slow those decks right down.
Also for the record, I ran an ARA deck but had 1 Demise and 2 other ritural that linked in the normal monsters I played. I built my deck to win in many ways and Demise was just something to get me out of trouble. But it was the others who won me the most duels.
Banning Call of the Hunted was interesting (But I still go to use my Birthright), but bringing back Monster reborn was nice. It's nice to use a card that has sat in my folder for years now. I hope they do this with some of the other old cards. It's funny how cards are thought to be powerful to be banned but then they realise it isn't; then yo-yo it back on the ban list. If they are unsure about the card then design one that is simular with with a less powerful effect or add a cost.
But what I find the funniest thing the most are alot of tourney duelist who have the same decks cuz they read it on the net. No one is original any more and this is what ruins the game. When ever I play with my own style decks I constanly get opponents saying what deck I have just by playing one card. Then to their supprise I have a different deck and beat them. I know a kid who copies all his decks from the net and only see certain cards in certain decks and can't cope when they are in another deck!
I know not everyone who go to tourneies are like this but alot are and that is what ruins the game. Yes, OTK decks win a duel but are they really fun to play with?
